Geek Vs. Nerd
A couple of decades ago, being either a nerd or a geek meant being a social disaster.
With growing fascination with personal technology and the fact that smarts became cool, geeks and nerds have come into their own.
However, despite common misconceptions, they are not the same. A geek is not a nerd and a nerd is not a geek.
Geeks have become self-identified with advanced technology. They have the latest gadgets and are masters of that universe.
The nerd on the other hand while loving technology also embraces knowledge of many other realms. They are masters of many obscure universes.
The average person can have a difficult time telling the difference between nerds and geeks. There are differences in personality, dress, hobbies, and professions.
When you learn these nuances though, you will have the knowledge you need to find out if that person you just met is a geek or a nerd.
How about you? Are you a geek or a nerd?

These inforgraphics are way too funny! I like both “Office Space” and “Star Trek”. What does it make me a nerdy geek or a geeky nerd? Hahaha
