Multi-Tasking Approach

Multi-tasking is an interesting word.

Everyone knows what it is, but no one really cares about it.

It’s stressful and counter productive.

It takes an average office worker 25 (!) minutes to recover and return to the original task after a simple interruption like an email or 2-3 minutes phone call according to studies at the University of California.

Multi-tasking is just another word for distraction.

It keeps us from focusing on anything one hundred per cent.

Instead of doing one thing well, and one thing at a time, we do many things half-way and semi-well-done.

In other words, NOTHING gets truly well-done.

So let us focus on accomplishing one thing at a time and truly well.

Then focus on the next assignment at hand.

You will see that by the end of the day you will get accomplished so much more!
